| Vegetable Gardens
The vegetable gardens are a large plot of land used to grow not only vegetables and fruit but all manner of magical plants. Practical Herbology lessons also take place here.

| Gaming Field
On a west side of the grounds in a large field where students and staff go to take part in their sports including Creaothceann, Shuntbumps and the new trend of Quidditch. Practical Flying lessons also take place here.

| The Lake
To the south of the castle is a large lake roughly half a mile across. In it lives not only fish and other likely inhabitants but also merfolk, grindylows and a giant squid.

The forest is a large expanse of trees to the east of the castle. It is home to a plenitude of magical and dangerous creatures. Practical Care of Magical Creatures lessons also take place here.
